Domestic Violence Protective Orders

Domestic Violence Protective Orders (DVPOs) are essential components of many victim’s safety plans and can greatly impact a victim’s ability to live independently from their abuser.

DVPOs can determine temporary child custody arrangements as well as a range of financial outcomes such as the right to live in a shared home and retain possession of a vehicle. Without effective advocacy, the lack of a court order can leave a victim destitute and at a high risk for further assault.

Walk-ins are welcome, but we ask that clients arrive by 2 PM to ensure same-day completion/filing of paperwork with the court.
