Rising Together: Introducing Hotline Outer Banks

For more than four decades, our organization has stood beside survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in the Outer Banks community. Today, we are proud to introduce a refreshed name and identity that more clearly reflects who we are, what we do, and the hope we
strive to provide every day.

Welcome to Hotline Outer Banks.

While our name and look have evolved, our mission remains the same: to protect, restore, and empower survivors — offering help when it’s hardest to ask, and hope when it’s needed most.

The refreshed brand was created to bring greater clarity to our services and strengthen awareness throughout Dare County and the surrounding communities. Many people know us through our thrift stores, but may not realize that Hotline also provides a 24/7 crisis line, emergency shelter for those facing imminent danger due to domestic violence, counseling, court advocacy, prevention education, and support for survivors of sexual assault and human trafficking.

Our new identity reflects both the urgency of our work and the resilience of the people we serve. Inspired by the idea of rising — like the morning sun over the Outer Banks — the new brand represents strength, renewal, and the possibility of a safer future.

As Hotline Outer Banks moves forward, we remain deeply committed to this community and grateful for the volunteers, donors, advocates, community partners, and supporters who make this work possible.

Whether you need help, want to support survivors, or simply want to learn more, we invite you to rise with us.
